Webinar 12 – CPC Simulator: A Digital Tool for Smarter Purification Workflows

RotaChrom’s Business Development Specialist, Gomathi Chan, recently presented a webinar detailing the CPC Simulator, its features, and how it can be implemented into LLC method development.

What is the CPC Simulator?

The CPC Simulator is RotaChrom's method development tool for proposing the optimal CPC method. It lets you find the most effective CPC purification method, visualize chromatographic runs in-silico, suggest a solvent system for your particular compound of interest (CoI), evaluate the partition coefficient, and evaluate the productivity of your CoI.

The core of the CPC Simulator consists of:

  • A database with a chemical search engine that contains extensive data from scientific literature, providing purification methods tested with CPC.
  • Visual representations of method results based on user input.

Topics to be addressed:

  • A step-by-step demonstration of how to input minimal data and receive predictive chromatographic profiles.
  • Suggest the most effective CPC purification method for your compound of interest
  • Simulate chromatographic runs with enhanced predictivity based on real-world parameters
  • Help you select a solvent system and evaluate partition coefficients
  • Estimate the productivity and separation performance of your target compound
  • Provide visual feedback based on parameter adjustments
  • Access a database of literature-based purification methods
  • Understand how the Simulator supports decision-making for scale-up and economic evaluation.

This session is ideal for:

  • Scientists and engineers working in pharmaceuticals, natural product extraction, or chemical separations
  • R&D professionals and lab managers interested in digital process development
  • Whether you're optimizing an existing method or starting from scratch, the CPC Simulator can significantly accelerate your workflow and improve method development outcomes.
